Trotter Specifications

There are four Trotter models available

  • TR1200 model 12" seat - maximum weight limit 5 stone, 34 kg
  • TR1400 model 14" seat - maximum weight limit 7 stone, 45 kg
  • TR1600 model 16" seat - maximum weight limit 12 stone, 77 kg
  • TR1800 model 18" seat - maximum weight limit 18 stone, 113.4 kg

specifications below are for the TR1400 14" model

The Trotter is 'crash tested' it is Approved for use in a vehicle tested to ANSI standard 7176/19, subject to the relevant optional accessories being used.

The Trotter is CE marked and has been tested by the factory to ISO 7176/8

The Trotter has flexible plastic non pneumatic wheels which operate well on smooth surfaces not rough ground.

The Seat can be configured to suit the occupant and has adjustable seat angle.

The seat fabrics can be wipe cleaned with a sponge.

The Trotter comes with a Lifetime Warranty frame & cross braces (see conditions), one year other items, excludes wear & tear to tyres and grips.

Whilst the Trotter may be used for someone with special needs the seat may be unsuitable if they require postural management support, if in doubt please seek the advice of your physiotherapist.

The Seat can be adjusted to change both the seat base and seat back angle, e.g.
